SEPT 20, 2019: GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE
On September 20 BAC and NYC Sanghas conducted a Pre Youth Climate Strike event. The solidarity was powerful and inspiring. As we joined the striking youth for the main strike, it was immediately apparent that this is a new wave in climate action activism that is unprecedented. The realism and courage of these young activists are a model of inspiration, as they speak to and demonstrate knowledge of the root causes of the Climate Crisis and point the "adults" in the direction of viable and obvious solutions that we are slow to enact. Without ambiguity, they have alerted us that change is coming. You can view a video of the event here.
