BAC at LIGHTS FOR LIBERTY: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps

On FRIDAY JULY 12th, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps will bring thousands of people to locations worldwide as well as to concentration camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by migrants.
TAKE A STAND, SHOW UP, BEAR WITNESS WITH BAC.

MEETING LOCATION: small park at 105 Duane St., between Church and Broadway, a block and a half from event site. (We will have access to bathroom.)

MEETING TIME / SCHEDULE:
6PM - arrive
6:10PM - welcome and overview of event
6:20PM - sitting meditation, chant
6:40PM - walking meditation to join the large gathering at Foley Square
7-9PM - speakers
9PM - moment of silence and vigil
If the moment is right, we may do a walking meditation around the federal building in silence and/or with chants. The federal building by Foley Square is home to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services and is where hundreds of migrants daily are processed through detention... To find us, should you get separated or come late, look for orange balloons.
